I stepped into this work the best version of myself at midlife, I have been sober for over 6 years and have lived abundantly in Portland, Oregon for most of my adult life. I thrive as a therapist to affirm care for queer and neurodivergent adults; support individuals struggling with anxiety, worry and stress; relational issues with family, partners or friends; past childhood & relational trauma causing present day obstacles; navigating challenging life transitions; women experiencing perimenopause and menopause phases; and clients exploring sobriety. I have a direct approach to therapy from a place of compassion, transparency, creativity, humor, and curious engagement. I specialize in working with behavioral and relational issues from a trauma informed lens and feel passionate to work one-on-one with adult individuals. I view the healing journey as unique, integrating psychodynamic therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each client I work with. My focus is to establish a trusting, empathetic relationship with you as an important part of the therapeutic process. Collaboratively, we will work to manage your struggles and facilitate your goals towards reclaiming agency over the presenting issues that have brought you to therapy. My hope is to create a compassionate and brave space for you to openly share your story, expand your awareness, and feel empowered to discover new pathways that bring you to personal growth and healing.

About Me
When I’m not working with my clients, I am connecting in nature and exploring the Pacific Northwest in a travel trailer with my husband of 22 years and our dog, Skya. I value morning routines in solitude to explore spirituality, tarot, journaling, and meditation. Being in community with others is important to me. I also enjoy creating art, practicing yoga, gardening, bird watching, hiking, city bike rides, and kayaking on a calm lake.
